We Can Test & Treat You for Allergies

Do you have a hard time breathing when the seasons change? Do you frequently feel uncomfortable outside or around animals? Do certain foods cause your skin to break out or a swelling feeling in your throat? You may have an allergy. Though they usually appear in childhood, allergies can develop at any point in a person’s life. St. Croix Regional Medical Center’s ENT specialist, Dr. Joseph Ruegemer, provides allergy diagnosis and treatment for allergies for patients in our St. Croix Falls and Lindstrom clinics.

Dr. Ruegemer’s Services Include:

  • ENT/Allergy Consultations
  • Allergy Testing
  • Allergy Treatment Plans
  • Allergy (desensitization) Shot Therapy

We also provide allergy shot therapy at our clinics in Frederic, Balsam Lake (Unity), St. Croix Falls, Webster, and Lindstrom.

How Do I Know if I Have an Allergy?

Diagnosing an allergy is not always easy. If you suffer from a stuffy nose, hives, or other allergy symptoms that occur on a regular basis, you may have an allergy. Take note of what you were doing when and right before the symptoms began. Show this to our ENT allergy specialist during an appointment. This may help us determine if an allergy is the cause of your discomfort.

Allergy Symptoms May Include:

  • Coughing, wheezing
  • Nasal congestion
  • Sneezing
  • Runny, itchy nose
  • Itchy, watery eyes
