Our Benefits

Medical Plans

SCRMC offers two medical plans qualified high deductible health plans paired with a Health Savings Account (HSA) feature for you to choose from. Preventive care is covered 100% (in-network) with no deductible with either plan choice.

Dental Plans

We offer Basic and Enhanced Plan options to fit the needs of you and your family. Both plans include the Little PartnersSM Benefit, while the Enhanced Plan has an Orthodontic Benefit for dependents under age 19.

Little PartnersSM is benefit coverage that provides most services for children 12 years old and under at a 100% coverage level, without deductible, annual maximum, or frequency limitations, when provided by an in-network dentist.

Vision Plans

SCRMC offers employees a variety of vision insurance options to fit your needs. For those employees and covered family members on our health insurance plan, SCRMC provides a company-paid plan covering vision exams at no cost along with discounts off of eyeglasses and contact lens. There are also two other employee-paid options to choose from.

Health and Flexible Savings Accounts

Both of our medical insurance plans allow you to have a Health Savings Account (HSA) where you can contribute money on a pre-tax basis via payroll deduction to pay for qualified medical, prescription, dental and vision expenses.

A Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) may be used to cover the cost of health, dental, vision and hearing expenses that are not covered under an insurance plan for you and your dependents. If you have a HSA account, you can only use this account for non-medical expenses such as dental and vision costs or medical expenses, this is called a Limited Purpose Healthcare FSA.

A Dependent Care Spending Account may be used to cover the cost of dependent care while you work. You may use this for expenses for the care of a child under age 13 or a disabled spouse, child or parent.

Paid Time Off

SCRMC recognizes the importance of employees maintaining a balance between work and other life activities. Paid Time off is a bank used for vacation, sick, and holidays. It starts accruing on an eligible employee’s first day of work.

Retirement Plan

SCRMC’s 403(b) Retirement Plan allows eligible employees to save for retirement on a tax-favored basis. SCRMC contributes 2% of your compensation to the Plan and also will match an amount equal to 100% up to the first 4% of pay you contribute to the Plan as salary reduction contributions. Eligible employees may receive the Company’s basic and matching contributions upon completion of 1 year of service and 1,000 hours worked.

Life Insurance

SCRMC provides term life benefits to all benefit eligible employees at no cost.

Voluntary Insurance Options

Employees may purchase additional term life insurance and AD&D insurance for themselves, their spouse and/or their dependent children.

Employee may also purchase Critical Illness insurance where they can receive lump-sum benefit upon diagnosis that can be used however they choose - from expenses related to treatment, to deductibles or day-to-day costs of living such as the mortgage or your utility bills.


SCRMC provides short-term and long-term disability benefits to all benefit eligible employees at no cost.

Employee Assistance Program

Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides a wide variety of EAP services ensuring that all of our employees have access to the right resources at the right time.

All employees and their dependents are eligible to use the EAP. Below are core EAP services available:
