Warm colors, wall paper and border, bay windows, custom-designed wood cabinets, and home-like furnishings as well as in-room whirlpool baths and accommodations for families.

Large, comfortable space that allow parents to involve family members and friends in the birth and post-partum experience—and have the privacy they desire, too.

Medical equipment is unobtrusive, stored behind specially designed cabinetry.

Cable TV, VCR, and DVD entertainment center in each room. Many videos are available, including ones on health education and some just for children.

Lactation assistance
Nurses and certified lactation counselors provide ongoing help, support and resources to ensure success for new moms who are breastfeeding. Click here for more information on lactation services.
Pain management
The Medical Center also offers options in pain management that meet the needs and preferences of our patients. Our physicians, certified nurse midwives, and nurses will discuss options, benefits, and potential side effects to help you make informed decisions. New mothers may also request complementary therapies together with traditional forms of care during their stay, including massage and relaxation.
Infant care and community resources
A Registered Nurse educator visits each mother during her hospital stay to provide information about infant care and development along with community resources available for families during the child's early years.
Hearing screening
Every baby born at our Medical Center receives a newborn hearing screening
