Chronic Pain Support Group

The Support Group meets the first Thursday of every month in the lower level of the hospital building from 5-6:30 PM.  The program is facilitated by Dr. Pat Fettes and is offered at no cost to participants.  You do not need to be seen by a provider at SCRMC to attend, and you do not need a referral. 

The group is open to anyone needing help with pain management.

Please note that the support group will not meet in June.

Baby & Me


Every Tuesday from 1:30pm- 2:30pm
A weekly play and discussion hour for parents and their infants (birth to 12 months). Join the group at any time. Attend as many sessions as you like. Topics include: sleep, reading baby’s cues, taking care of mom, baby sign, massage, nutrition, separation anxiety, music, family traditions and more.

Fee: Free

Yoga in Sequence

Every Wednesday of the month: 6:45-7:45pm

Practice yoga poses and postures with sequencing grace. “Move with your breathing, Breathe with your moving. Some yoga experience is recommended.

FEE: $5 per session each or $25 for 6 sessions.

Breastfeeding Support Group

Certified Lactation Counselor*Private lactation consults are available by appointment.
All nursing mothers and babies are invited to participate. Instructor is a Certified Lactation Counselor  For questions at anytime on breastfeeding, please contact the OB department at 715-483-0576 or e-mail angela.chivers@scrmc.org.

Alzheimer’s Support Group

No two people experience Alzheimer's disease in the same way. As a result, there's no one approach to caregiving. Responsibilities can range from making financial decisions to helping a loved one get dressed. Handling these duties is hard work, but resources and support are available to help you.

The Alzheimer's Support Group is intended to benefit caregivers and family members of those who have Alzheimer's Disease/Dementia.

Meets the last Tuesday of each month.

Hatha Yoga Beginner and Experienced

Saturdays

Beginner: 10:00 to 11:00 AM

Experienced:  11:30 to 12:30 PM

The cost is $5 per session or $25 for 6 sessions.  Classes are held in the Riverbend Conference Room, Hospital building, 235 State St., St. Croix Falls, WI.

Who would make healthcare decisions in the event you are unable to?  Learn more about advance directives and how to complete them. Forms available for both Minnesota and Wisconsin residents.

Expectant Parents

Angie ChiversFour weekly evening sessions from 6:00-8:30 pm.

Sessions will be 4 weeks long and held every other month. Ideal for parents during the 7th or 8th month of pregnancy. Learn about labor, delivery, breathing and relaxation techniques, postpartum  care, infant feeding and tour the Birthing Center.

FEE: $40 per couple

Instructor Angie Chivers is a Health Educator, Certified Lactation Counselor, and mother.

Sessions offered as follows:

March 1, 15, 22, and 29
May 3, 10, 17 and 24

Women’s Health Conference

We invite you to attend the 18th Annual Women's Health Conference at Hazelden's Cork Center, 15251 Pleasant Valley Road, Center City, MN.  Health screening, mini-massages and special speakers plus giveaways each night.  Pre-registration is not required.

Diabetes Support Group

Meets the third Thursday of the month. Please join us whether you are newly diagnosed or have had diabetes for a while. Support group lead by Diabetic Educators.

Orthopaedics Provider (MD, PA, NP) lunch with Dr. Glenn Ciegler, St. Croix Orthopaedics

This lunch is for providers only (MD, PA, NP).  Lunch is provided by SCRMC.

Dr. Ciegler of St Croix Orthopaedics and his associate, Abigale Gabrick, PA-C see patients weekly at the St.Croix Falls Clinic location.  Please call 715-483-0431 if additional information is needed.

Grief and Loss Support Group six week series

Meets from 4 - 5:30 PM.

The program is designed to create a setting in which those in attendance can help one another.  It is a time of learning and sharing. The group is offered free of charge, but registration is required to attend.

Trauma Rounds/Case Review by Dr. Michael McGonigal, Director of Trauma Services, Regions Hospital

Providers, Nursing Staff and area EMS may attend.  Training is mandatory for all Emergency Department nursing, supervisors and anyone that works first person ED.

Learning objectives:
*Describe appropriate medical management of trauma patients with designated health conditions.
*Describe key factors to identify the care and treatment of adult and pediatric trauma patients.
