Any one diagnosed with diabetes, may participate in our special Diabetes Care Clinic. Ask your provider or their staff about the program or ask to speak with one of the diabetes care staff, Robin Herr or Kathy Johnson.
Vaccines are still the best “tools” we have to prevent influenza. SCRMC will hold flu vaccine clinics at all sites in October (see schedule). Vaccines are encouraged for all ages, 6 months and older, especially people who have certain medical conditions including asthma, diabetes and chronic lung disease, pregnant women and people 65 years of age and older. Also household contacts and caregivers of those with the above mentioned medical conditions should be vaccinated.
