1919 Medical clinic and hospital founded by Dr. Jake Riegel and located in a family home in St. Croix Falls known as the Baker House.
1955 Community-built hospital known as St.Croix Valley Memorial Hospital.
1957 Doctors established a partnership known as St. Croix Falls Clinic, later changing to River Valley Medical Center and opened a new clinic building.
1972 Opened new three-story hospital building connecting the original hospital and clinic buildings.
1982 Opened a community clinic in Balsam Lake.
1986 Opened a community Clinic in Milltown.
1987 River Valley Pharmacy was founded, providing the hospital and clinic with on-site access to prescription medications at St. Croix Falls.
1996: Community clinic in Milltown closed.
1996 Opened community clinic north of Balsam Lake near Unity School after closing the community clinics in Balsam Lake and Milltown.
1998 Opened a community clinic in Frederic and remodeled the Birthing Center.
1999 St. Croix Valley Memorial Hospital and River Valley Medical Center merged to form what is known today as St. Croix Regional Medical Center.
2002 Opened new three-story medical clinic dedicated as the Riegel Building.
2002 Opened a state-of-the-art Emergency Care Unit, staffed around the clock.
2008 Remodeled birthing center opened.
2008 Opened the Lloyd Olsen Surgery Center and the roof-top helipad.
2011 Opened a community clinic, Ingalls Clinic, in Webster, WI.
2011 Opened the Lindstrom Physical Rehabilitation Clinic in Lindstrom, MN.
